William “Bill” Reed serves as the Vice President on the Board of the African American Museum of Bucks County. Bill is a retired Mobil Oil (Exxon Mobil) procurement executive. He has held other corporate level directorships in procurement with Pep Boys in Philadelphia, PA; AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) in Washington, DC; and the Pennsbury School District, in Fairless Hills, PA. He is also a retired NCOIC (Non-Commission Officer In Charge) of Base Contracting for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He is Co-Founder of “Christians for the Healing of Racism,” a 12-week symposium on racism held throughout Bucks County, PA with a diverse group of churches and civic organizations. Additionally, Bill served two terms as Committee Person for the South 9 District Democratic Party in Yardley, PA. He is very involved in his church community, serving as Financial Sectary of the Baptist Deacons Union in Trenton, NJ and its Auxiliaries. He is a member of the First Baptist Church in Langhorne, PA, where he serves as a teacher in the Men’s Bible Study and is Chair of the Board of Deacons. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and Management from Hampton University and an MBA degree in Organizational Management from Golden Gate University.
